  • Places of Refuge in Ramsgate

    On a windy day on the Kent coast find shelter on a houseboat in Ramsgate Harbour, on the lee side of a lifeguard tower on the Main Sands, in a smugglers cave as the incoming tide approaches and underground in the subterranean tunnel system used to shelter 60,000 people during WWII air raids.

  • Walk, Run and Ride in the Forest of Dean

  • Work in the Forest of Dean

    A day at work in the forest. Spend the morning inspecting the Greathough Brook Beaver site, leaving apples for the beavers, checking cameras and crossing their dams. In the afternoon, walk the woods of Noxon to supervise a felling site and hear tree harvesting machinery in operation.
