  • In this episode we’re talking about the life of the psychiatry registrar within a community team. This recording is geared more towards doctors joining the CMHT , and we have two registrars Dr.Sadaf Aleem and Dr.Hassan Mallick discussing: How to organize your work week What an average day is like what is a busy day like for you? how to use MDT to its maximum benefit. How to manage boundaries when you have to stay late How do referrals come in and out of the CMHT What a good referral for a trainee registrar is? About the QI Project This Quality Improvement project is led by Dr. Hassan Mallick MRCPsych, a psychiatry specialist in training at the Central and North West London NHS Trust. The project aims to enhance the wellbeing of trainees transitioning into CNWL CMHTs by providing a flexible, accessible, and contextual learning tool. This project will offer peer-support, normalize vulnerability, and disseminate information that may not be available in handbooks and induction kits. Additionally, this initiative may provide valuable insights into the work of health professionals for the general public.
