  • My name is Jonathan Jerome Johnson. I am 43 years old and I am from Anniston Alabama. I have for over the past 10 years fought with my weight and health. I am a type 2 diabetic and have been over 300lbs since 2010. I was diagnosed with diabetes and ignored it. I continued to eat whatever I wanted and didn’t take my medicine properly. This lead over time to my health worsening. My blood sugars use to be 250’s to 300’s. My A1C was way past 14. Around the end of January I was fed up with feeling bad and never changing so I reached out to a friend of mine Marquittia Bradford. She was doing keto and she had amazing success with it. I had also heard that diabetics were having life changing effects by using the ketogenic lifestyle. I started on my journey and never looked back. Now my blood sugars are in the low 100’s and it’s all thanks to Keto.Mentally I became a new person. I haven’t been a consistent or dedicated person in a lot of areas especially my health.... but something happened. After I saw that my sugar came into normal ranges my first week of keto I became a believer. In my mind a light switch flipped and I’ve been full steam ahead ever since.Most people use diets to get to a goal weight. I am fully bought into the ketogenic lifestyle and I don’t have a goal weight. I do have a health goal and plan to maintain it through my new lifestyle change. I now am no longer a type 2 diabetic! After six months of Keto my body healed and my A1C is now a 5.5 from a 12 when I started. Keto works if you work it!!!!!A pure leap of faith is the reason I gave this lifestyle a chance. When you hear testimonies of how it helped other people it became curious. Now when my friend and now Keto Coach Marquittia had amazing results after having her second baby it made me even more intrigued. Sometimes faith can be small at first but just wait... It shall surely grow.
