After a brief request for prayers for Sophia's and all other ailing peoples' healing, Matthew moves into 2 John. The second epistle of John (Yochanan in Hebrew) is a very short read with a profound yet simple message to the readers.. Please live lives of love.. understanding that you are loving God when you're living simple, obedient lives that express His love toward others. Matthew attaches this love to faith and explains that living lives of love automatically reduces fear, worry and anxiety by focusing on God's infinite power and how much HE WANTS TO BLESS AND PROTECT US! Don't worry about tomorrow! 'Instead you ought to say, 'If The Lord Yud-Heh-Vav-Heh (Yahweh) wants it to happen, we will live' to do this or that.' James 4:15 - My God.. I feel so good about this episode! :D

Chapters 3 to 5 of John's first epistle further clarify and confirm the prior statements Matthew has made in regard to fear, anxiety and worry.. it is so important that you listen to this episode as closely as possible.. especially minutes 5-30! This brief three part series will walk through John's 3 written epistles (letters)! Today's focus will be on the first couple chapters of his first epistle. Sophia wanted me to talk about anxiety and grief, worry and the like.. (Thank you so much for listening to the prompts of God!) so I asked the Holy Spirit to give guidance on where to go.. He told me, 'Perfect Love casts out all fear Matthew.. and obedience to the order already put in place will result in greater shalom.. greater harmony.. greater wellness.. hence, no more anxiety - or at least much less!' He then sent me a confirmation in a new guy that got moved into the pod and on his first day here is celebrating with me the wisdom of the epistle 1 John! You can't make this stuff up! He always does this before I make a new episode.. He just gives us everything we need! We love you all so much!!!

Concluding the Book of Romans, Matthew first takes us through some personal events of the day while asking us to look at the reality of our present situation on the global stage through the lens of Biblical prophecy. Relationships can be trying at times.. but we should always be searching for ways to be beneficial, encouraging, edifying and to do so in ways that are mutual. Once again, the timing on this episode is unbelievable.. As we go through Romans 15, I want us to think deeply about all the people in our lives, and after listening to this episode, make a call or send a letter to someone and express something you learned or were simply inspired to say. Today - December 25 - is Saturnalia, Sol Invictus or 'Christmas'! While we seek to honor The Lord Jesus Christ every day of the year, this non-Biblical (and indeed anti-Biblical) holiday (see Jeremiah 10) isn't something Matthew celebrates, nor could he, in good conscience condone adherence to its many pagan symbols. As we go through Romans 14, today's episode will more importantly address the carefully traversed area of people's varied levels of faith! We love you all so much! Thanks for listening!

It is so important that we be men and women 'after God's own heart' - as King David - with repentance and conformity to the Image of Christ as our daily objectives. Turning from the ways of the world to the ways of God will only be achieved when we allow the guiding influence of our lives to be The Holy Spirit.. and not any man or woman of Earth.
