Now, Florence remains an active member of the Waco community and serves as the Associate Athletics Director for Major Gifts here at his alma mater.

Murphy had an incredibly successful career in the Green & Gold that included a 1st team All-American selection, and went on to hear his name called in the first round in the 2003 MLB draft.     On this week’s episode we are joined by Avery Skinner, a former Baylor Volleyball star who is set to suit up for Team USA in this summer’s Paris Olympics. Avery, the daughter of Baylor basketball legend Brian Skinner, won the national championship with Kentucky before coming to finish her collegiate career at her father’s alma mater. Now, after shining in international play, Skinner is looking to help push Team USA to a second consecutive gold medal.

    Arguably Baylor's best baseball player in school history, Jason Jennings was a two-time All-American and the first consensus National Player of the Year in Division I in 1999. Jennings went on to be a 1st round pick when the Colorado Rockies took him 16th overall, and had one of the most memorable debuts in MLB history, pitching a 5-hit shutout while also hitting his first career home run. Now, after a successful career in the professional ranks, Jennings is focused on family, and has found a career in training the next generation of ball players.

  • 24. Darold Williamson

    During a golden era that established Baylor as "Quartermiler U.," Darold Williamson was the anchor leg for 4x400 relay teams that won a combined seven Big 12 titles, 2 national indoor titles, and the 2004 NCAA Outdoor championship. The summer after his junior season at Baylor, Williamson made the finals of the 400 at the USA Olympic Trials, and went on to win a gold medal as the anchor leg in the 4x400 in Athens. Now, 20 years after his first place finish, Williamson reflects on an incredible legacy, and gets us ready for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

The rising star and freshman All-American out of Lewisville, Texas played in all 12 games for the Bears last season, and ranked among the nation’s best first-year defensive players in a multitude of categories. Now, after deciding to stay at Baylor and build on last year’s incredible campaign, Caden is looking to elevate his game and be a cornerstone for Coach Aranda’s defensive unit.

Now, in his final year, the do-it-all first baseman is playing the best ball of his career, while also pursuing some big dreams away from the diamond.
