  • Episode 5 | Bret vs. Shawn
    Jul 26 2024

This week Stevie sets out to end the debate once and for all using logic and math. Who was better in their prime, Bret "Hitman" Hart or "HBK" Shawn Michaels? Stevie will head to the smartboard and break it down one attribute at a time and decide who truly was the best of the best. Stevie will also talk about his experiences with both men and tell us why the saying, "Never meet your heroes" is sometimes true. Before the show ends, Stevie will also talk about THE SECRETS OF THE WRESTLING RING. Here, he will breakdown the finer points of wrestling rings including anatomy, construction and the differences between the various types of ring he has performed in over the years.

Stevie Richards surprised, entertained and informed the wrestling world in 2023 when he debuted the Stevie Richards' Wrestling Analysis YouTube channel to widespread critical acclaim. Combining his experience in the wrestling profession with his keen eye for detail and a passion for teaching fans and workers alike, Richards achieved over 100,000 YouTube subscribers in a matter of months with his short form videos explaining exactly what went right or wrong in a particular match or manoeuvre.

With 30+ years working for nearly every major American promotion during their hottest periods (ECW, WCW, WWE, TNA), Stevie Richards is not only dusting off his patented whiteboard and marker to once again break down the psychology and physicality of this crazy business, but Stevie is now adding to his repertoire by debuting a weekly show, imaginatively titled The Stevie Richards Show.

The "show" in The Stevie Richards Show is the key word - this will not be another run of the mill podcast recorded on Zoom, clipped up and posted 8 times a day on YouTube and featuring a disinterested ex pro wrestler out to make a quick buck. What makes The Stevie Richards Show a "show" will be the attention to detail given to every episode, including added on screen annotations, factoids, images and video and 4K camera set up to give the sharpest, best looking, broadcast quality videos on YouTube. Most importantly of all, The Stevie Richards Show's output will be about quality, not quantity. Every Friday, Stevie Richards and co-host James Romero (WSI | Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Story Time with Dutch Mantell) will discuss the latest news, delve deep into the wrestling profession with more detail and first hand experience than any other podcast, answer fan submitted questions and, yes, break out the whiteboard to break down the what went right, or wrong, in the wrestling world. • The Stevie Richards Show 4 | Fixing AEW's Problems
    Jul 19 2024

Welcome back to The Stevie Richards Show! It's Episode 4 and Stevie will be taking a very close and detailed look at the problems that plague AEW. It begins with looking at a breakdown of costs which has found its way online and equates to a $4 Million spend on just one PPV and subsequent TV show. It shows how much is being spent on almost all aspects of the shows production, rental of equipment and costs for talent and man hours. Stevie will then head to the smart board for a theoretical but completely radical shake up of the AEW roster. Who will make the cut in Stevie Richards' version of AEW and why do some stars NOT make the cut?

    Enjoy!

  • The Stevie Richards Show 3 | Banned Moves in WWE
    Jul 12 2024

We are 3 episodes in to The Stevie Richards Show and we couldn't be more grateful for the fantastic response to the show so far and the number of people who have tuned in and subscribed. Thank you!

This week, following The Rock's suggestion that his "Final Boss" heel character is the greatest heel of all time, Stevie will give his thoughts and nominate who he thinks is ACTUALLY the best heel ever and WHY!

Then Stevie will talk about the various moves that have been banned, used and banned again in the ever changing rule book of WWE. Which moves actually represent a great risk, which ones weren't so bad and which are the moves that aren't banned but should be?

This week' whiteboard segment takes a very close look at the botched kickout from Money in the Bank 2024. Was Damien Priest out cold? Why wasn't he looking for the count? What went wrong?

Finally, Stevie will talk about what it was really like to wrestle Goldberg. Is he reckless? Can he work? How do you plan a match with Goldberg?
