For our Season 2 finale of ‘The Table On Air’, our host is rejoined by the first guest from Season 1, Terrell Stanley, our show Creative Director and CEO of Garden Grown, LLC. In this special edition episode, our guest and host decide to get real personal and vulnerable with the community about how they're fighting for love as a Black LGBTQ+ couple. In the discussion, the two share background on how they have learned to support each other as partners during their long-term relationship, how they have balanced the woes of dating, and how they have practiced active communication to plan their future together.

In Episode 8 of ‘The Table On Air’, Season 2, Renauda Riddle, co-owner of Nobody's Darling Bar joins our host for an evening full of laughter and community building. Renauda shares more with our team about the history behind the Black and Lesbian owned bar's conception (a reference inspired by literature from poet Alice Walker), the plans that she has to expand into Chicago's south side area with her business partner Angela Barnes, their special cocktail menu referenced after Black & LGBTQ icons, and what being nominated for a James Beard Award meant for their impact as a local neighborhood space of inclusion.

For Season 2, Episode 7 of ‘The Table On Air’, our team is joined by Austin Cathey, the new Midwest Community Engagement Associate for UNICEF. Our guest shares more about his journey towards pursuing his true passions, balancing his creative interests, obtaining his Master's in Global Health Policy & Equity from Loyola University Chicago, and the ways that he continues to champion Children's Rights both as a scholar and practitioner.

For Episode 6, Season 2 of ‘The Table On Air’, our host is joined by Derrick "Just Logan" Chambers, an Grammy-Award winning songwriter and musician. The Chicago native shares more with our host, Darius Caffey, about what his artistic journey has been like, what it's meant working with artists such as John Legend and Jennifer Hudson, and how he's used the culture of his family to dive more into his creative bag.

On Episode 4, Season 2 of ‘The Table On Air’, we're joined by Donald D. Gilliam (he/him), the Co-Founder of Critical Collective, LLC; Published Author; and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Practitioner. Our guest shares some insight into his background growing up on the south side of Chicago, how he's used his experience working in higher education to fuel his current work in corporate DEIB consulting across the Midwest, and the different ways that mentorship has guided his actions. As our host Darius Caffey gets more personal with Gilliam, he learns more about how relationships have played a huge role in the decisions we make and how we show up for our most vulnerable and proudest identities.

On Episode 3, Season 2 of ‘The Table On Air’ the 7th District Senator of Illinois, Mike Simmons (he/him), joins us. Senator Simmons shares more about how his team his advocating for communities in Chicago through public service, especially for the neighborhoods that he serves, including: Lincoln Square, Rogers Park, Uptown, Edgewater, Andersonville, Bowmanville, North Center, Ravenswood, Lakeview, and West Ridge. As our host Darius Caffey dives deeper, he learns more about the senator's Ethiopian roots, family history to entrepreneurship, love for his partner, and some of his hobbies.

On Episode 2, Season 2 of ‘The Table On Air’ we’re joined by Elijah McKinnon (they/them), the Co-Founder/Executive Director of Open Television (OTV), the Emmy-nominated streaming platform and media incubator for intersectional storytelling, with artists and their creatives at the center. The city of Chicago gets a treat with this one as McKinnon shares details on some of the things they’re caring for in the nonprofit world, and what it’s meant building community as a an entrepreneur. As the Executive Diva talked more with host Darius Caffey, they told stories about family connections, inspiring experiences, Black Queerness, good skin care, and even snuck in a Beyoncé song.
