  • Welcome to the Tank Commander Podcast, hosted by Jeffrey Pidlaoan and Noah Sharp! Just like the players we'll be covering, this is an up-and-coming NBA and Dynasty Fantasy podcast focusing on the newest players in the NBA, ranging from prospects about to enter the league in the incoming drafts, to the young rookies and sophomores who are making their way and ascending into stardom or at least a long career in the league.

    We are two dynasty tank commanders with the youngest teams in our league and highest picks in our rookie draft who keep falling for the youth movement. We focus on these young players because we love following their journey and seeing how their tools and abilities help them make it to the next level, or even change the NBA itself. In this podcast, we combine our scouting eyes along with our fantasy skills, to provide ongoing young player coverage throughout the year: from the draft to summer league, to the mid-season doldrums, to the playoffs, and all the way back to draft season over again.

    Whether it's the first or second year players adapting to the league and evolving past what anyone could have predicted, to the draft prospects that will make even the most old man fantasy squad want to send their team deep into tank mode, the Tank Commander Podcast is your best bet to get year-round insights on the future of the NBA.

    For our last player profile before the start of the 2024-2025 NBA season, we'll be focusing on the Washington Wizards' Carlton "Bub" Carrington out of Pitt. We'll give our breakdown of his strengths and weaknesses and give some comparisons.


    Bub came out of nowhere to rise up late in the draft season. You'll get to see the why of how he got to be so overlooked, while also seeing what justifies such a meteoric rise, especially after Summer League.

    We will be taking the 2022, 2023, and 2024 draft classes, combining them all into one pool, then drafting against one another to build our teams! See how things end up between GM Noah and GM Jeff as we build teams from 1-15 to see how the players from the last three draft classes stack up against one another in forming two new expansion teams.
