The jury was also told there was just a 1 in 14,000 chance that DNA found under the fingernails of Ashling didn’t belong to Puska and that extensive CCTV evidence taken on the day of the murder saw him trailing two other women on his bicycle.     In this second episode of The Trial, Ashling Murphy, Caroline and Nicola discuss the testimony of Jenna Stack who came across Jozef Puska and Ashling Murphy in the ditch at Grand Canal way, Tullamore minutes before she died. They also recap a harrowing week for the Murphy family which included hearing post mortem evidence that Ashling’s voice box was cut during an attack which saw her receive 11 stab wounds which ultimately caused her death. The jury also heard evidence this week from garda Tom Dunne who took the 999 call at Tullamore Garda station and was the first first policeman at the scene - he and his colleague performed CPR on Ashling for at least ten minutes but to no avail. Headliner case w/ mediocre reporting

I've listened from beginning to end, but the most recent (the verdict) episode was terribly disappointing. The recording was posted many hours after the verdict hit national news, and furthermore stated Letby had been on a "killing spree", which is undeniably incorrect. By true definition of her convictions, she is a "serial killer". There is absolutely a difference between the two types of killers. Had these podcast journalists listened to the news reported 1/2 a day before their "news" was publish here, they would have know this fact.
