    Every year, the debate of Snow Gates comes up.  Should Fargo have them or not?

    KFGO Reporters Ryan Janke and Madison Quinn took a deep dive into the always controversial topic of Snow Gates.  They interviewed 4 people with different perspectives including Sioux Falls Streets Operations Manager Dustin Hansen (Sioux Falls has used Snow Gates since 2012), Fargo Resident (and half of It Takes 2 on KFGO) J.J. Gordon, Director of Public Works for the City of Fargo Ben Dow, and Fargo City Commissioner Tony Gehrig.

    They all shared their opinions of how Snow Gates can help or hinder a city’s snow removal operation. Listen below and tell us what you think!

  • Police Lt. Greg Warren retires after 48 years
    Jan 3 2023

    After 48 years on the job, Greg Warren is calling it a day. The West Fargo Police lieutenant retires on January 6th, 2023. Warren worked in the Cass County Jail for a short time before joining West Fargo Police in 1975 where he worked under four police chiefs and was once a candidate for the job. He spent 19 years on patrol and currently has 23 people under his command.
