  • Retired OPP Staff Sergeant Kathleen Doherty joins 10-5 The Official Podcast of the OPP Association to discuss her role as an ambassador and competitor in the 2025 World Police and Fire Games happening June 22 - July 6, 2025 in Birmingham, Alabama .

    The annual event will feature 8,500+ Athletes who work as Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, Corrections, Border Patrol and more , 2,500+ Volunteers, 60+ Sports, 15,000+ Supporters, 20,000+ Room Nights, 35+ Venues, 50,000+ Spectators, 1,600+ Medal Events and 70+ Countries. The projected Economic Impact is US$65 million.
