  • Last year was a disappointing one for FAU Football, but the preseason ESPN FPI paints a much better picture for Florida Atlantic fans. The predictive model, with a much easier schedule than 2023, gives FAU a very real chance of bowl eligibility...and maybe even more! Factor in FAU's FPI rank, the FPI rank of its opponents, a favorable non-conference AND league slate, not to mention a little luck that the Owls didn't have last year and an FAU bowl game is very much in the cards. Also, college football's best predictive formula in 2023 thinks that FAU will have Michigan State on Week 0 and Week 1's biggest upset alert.
