  • On labor day weekend of 2022, an investigative journalist named Jeff German for the Las Vegas review journal was found stabbed to death next to his home. German had suffered 7 stab wounds after succumbing to a malicious attack. Given the dangerous nature of Jeff's job, police immediately suspected a connection between the stories Jeff reported on, and his vicious murder. It didn't take long for the name Robert Telles to come to the forefront of the suspect list.

    Telles, a public elected official was the subject of German's latest investigative series. After several of Telles' employees accused him of abuse, harassment, bullying and discrimination among other allegations, Telles alleged actions were cast into the limelight via Jeff German's investigation and interviews with Telles' subordinates. Eventually, the reporting on Telles actions led to him losing the subsequent election, and ultimately a complete fall from grace.
