  • This week Dia is joined by therapist Amenah Arman. In 2019, Amenah Arman founded her private nontraditional therapy practice, Sane in the Membrane. A leader in narrative exposure therapy, she’s helped dozens of people of color and artists cultivate self-acceptance and identify what they need to thrive. Amenah received her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelor of Art in Creative Writing from Georgia State University. Since 2019, Amenah has provided stellar mental health support services to the youth in our programs. We are so grateful to have had access to her services during the 2020 quarantine when youth needed her support the most.
