  • Resumen

  • Turn Hardship and Doubt into Hope and Power It's hard to understand in the moment, but sorrow can give you perspective, purpose, and a platform. It’s called a “roar story.” And you can use it to inspire others to see the bright future beyond their darkest days. Whether you’ve suffered in the past, are in a trial now, or want to prepare for the inevitable challenges to come, this Bible study can provide help, hope, and healing, all for the glory of God. Both instructive and deeply inspirational, this study will help you see your life with new perspective through the eyes of faith.

Introducing a new series: Making Time!

    DIGITAL GROUP GUIDE

How are you at making time? Do you feel like you have enough time in the day? Do you know if you have enough time in the day? Is there a difference between how you feel about time and what you think about your time?

This is the first of a 6 part series on Making Time. Everyone has the same number of hours in the day so why do some people seem to get so much more done? Why do some other people seem so rushed and others seem so casual?

While this series can be listened to on your end, you’ll get more out of it if you listen to it together with someone else, your spouse, family, small group, book/podcast club or whatever. If you want to make it more fun and interactive with your group, download the GROUP Method discussion guide here: https://lumivoz.com/making-time/

And we are giving away 50 free GROUP Method Notebooks. Each notebook has premium BLACK paper and comes with a white pen. To get a free notebook, you can do 1 of the following:

    1. Leave a review for Making Time on your podcast app of choice.
    2. Share the Making Time podcast on social media.

Take a screenshot of either one and email it to makingtime@lumivoz.com

This podcast is just launching and still very small so if you enter, you are probably going to win! But here’s the catch, only 1 notebook and pen per email entry. If you want one for each member of your group, they each have to enter. Sorry, we can only afford to ship to the US and Canada at this time but will hopefully have some more international options soon, especially if y’all share this podcast and it gets popular enough ;)

What will you do when the unthinkable happens? Pastor Levi Lusko never expected that five days before Christmas, his five-year-old daughter Lenya would suddenly go to heaven after an asthma attack. Learn the eye-opening truth of the power of hope in a world that is often filled with pain, suffering, and loss.

Her parents called her Lenya Lion because of her ferocious personality and hair that had been wild and mane-like since birth, but after her sudden loss, Pastor Levi Lusko and his wife Jennie had to figure out how to walk out of an emergency room without their daughter.

In this moving memoir, Levi shares the power of hope in a world often visited by pain, suffering, and loss, urging you to view life as an adventure and encourages you to make an eternal impact.

More a manifesto for high-octane living than a manual for grieving, Through the Eyes of a Lion will help you turn your journey into a "roar story" by guiding you to:

    • Let God turn your pain into a microphone
    • Look past what you can see with the naked eye
    • Understand how a good God can allow bad things
    • Survive Saturday—the space between promise and fulfillment

Levi has walked through the intense, raw periods that come with grieving. Whether you're currently facing adversity or want to prepare yourself for inevitable hardship, it's time to look at the adventure of your life through Jesus' eyes—the eyes of a Lion.

The background music is distracting.

I tried. But I do not like the music in the background. I feel like its a cheap way to evoke some sort of emotional connection. If the teacher is any good they shouldn't have to resort to that. I don't want to be put into a trance, I want to study the Word.
