Northeast Mississippi Community College President Dr. Ricky G. Ford sits down with Marketing and Public Relations Associate Alli Scott as she fills in for Liz Calvery to discuss all the activities that happen at the college during the summer months. While last week focused on the students and community, Ford talks about what employees do during the summer months. Ford takes listeners through each division on campus and gives insight into what each division, department and office does during the summer months -- late May, June and July, to help prepare for the fall semester or to help the college keep rolling smoothly. Ford talks about many of the offices in Ramsey and what they do, how the Student Success Center prepares students for summer courses and the fall semester and how the Office of Public Information/Sports Information works ahead to have information, bios, schedules, media guides and other things ready for when students return to campus. To wrap up, Ford gives listeners the Northeast News and discusses athletics, academics, workforce, student activities, and human resources, along with many more important things happening at one of the nation’s top community colleges.
