The episode begins with telling the backstory of how Red Lion and Scott connected at WeGoLive in 2023 through Houston-based curators Scott Free & Courtney B. The conversation continues by sharing how Red Lion became a bit of a mentor to the entire Ripe Poetry collective over the past year.

As the episode picks up the team shares briefly about their experience at WAN (Write About Now) on Wednesday, May 22nd where Miss Spoken Poet was featured. Throughout the episode personal stories are shared that give honor and encouragement to all the five Ripe Poets who made the trip.

In this episode, Scott is joined by Jarrett, Leah Wrenne, and Anh Thai to talk about the Creatives’ Concert Co-Bill event that featured the two guest artists and Emma Nissen. The event was hosted at The Story Factory PHL on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024.
