The towns along the Tennessee River have a history of conflict but are also home to some of the most interesting people on earth. We will tell the stories of the people who are working to bring this region and these people together and examine the factors that make that work challenging.

One of those events was a meeting that included veterans in Vietnam who fought against U.S. forces in the 1960s & 70s and a delegation of Americans that included veterans from the war in Vietnam, U.S. Veterans who served after the war, current service members, and family members of Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Rodney Davis.


    Josh takes us inside that meeting.

    Last spring I met John Hollis over zoom.


    John Hollis has spent most of his professionally life telling stories about other people working as a journalist in many places, and a few years ago he wrote a book about Medal of Honor recipient Marine Corps Sergeant Rodney Maxwell Davis. Davis was killed in action during the Vietnam War.


    In our last episode of Tomorrow Town, Tennessee, I announced the show was going on a trip to Vietnam. Rodney Davis' story is a major reason we are going on this trip. Look for much more on our trip very soon.
