  • This episode offers a fascinating insight into the challenges which are facing community transport services up and down the country.  We welcome our special guest, Celia Arthur, the transport manager for Bluwave Community Transport (www.bluwave.org.uk), and we had a call to discuss the importance and value the role volunteer drivers play in their local community and how you too can become a volunteer driver.  Bluwave Community Transport are particularly busy and are always on the lookout for more volunteers and drivers.  We also discuss how Road XS (www.roadxs.com) is allowing them to do more journeys with less drivers to meet the increased demand for their services from the local community.  If you're in need for community transport services, don't forget to get in touch with your local provider, they really do make difference to people's lives every day.  Let's jump in!
