In this episode, my guest Margie talks about her recent trip to Italy with her brothers. During this week, they spent time exploring the areas of Cinque Terre, Pisa, Florence, and Rome. They enjoyed good conversations and excellent bottles of wine. It isn't often that adult siblings get to spend time together traveling and I love that Margie and her brothers made it a priority to reconnect with each other in a fun, new way.

In this episode, I discuss our recent sailing on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. We sailed from the Port of Los Angeles on June 24 on a four night sailing with stops in Catalina and Ensenada. This was the first time that our oldest daughter sailed as an adult and it was interesting navigating this new phase in life. Royal Caribbean has so much to do on their ships and we had a great time. We did the Escape Room and tried Izumi for the first time.

On this episode, I discuss my upcoming cruise on Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas. This cruise is a little different because it is the first time I will be sailing with adult children. We also have two people who have never cruised before so hopefully they will have a positive experience.

I also discuss what we booked ahead of time and some of the activities that we are looking forward to participating in. This is our second time sailing on this ship and itinerary so I can't wait to see if we enjoy it this time as much as we did the first time.

On this episode, Terra and Darren continue to discuss a recent trip that they took to Rome. In part two, they talk about their days in Rome with a tour to the Vatican, a trip to the Pantheon, and an emotional meal that brought Darren to tears.

They rented a flat through Marriott that had three bedrooms so it was able to accommodate their large family. The tours that they booked were through Tours by Locals. For the Catacombs tour they booked it with a guide named Valentina Santoro who they felt did an amazing job. Their Colosseum tour was booked with a guide named Pietro Petrelli.

The app that they used in Rome to purchase tickets for the bus system: MooneyGo

When traveling back to the United States, they dowloaded the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) to make going through customs a little bit faster.

I this episode, I discuss my recently sailing on the Norwegian Bliss down to the Mexican Riviera. We began our cruise in Los Angeles at the Port in San Pedro. We stopped in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the entertainment on board, all of the dining options, and our excursions.

The one complaint was with our stateroom location. We were in an Ocean View room on deck 12, room 12704. This room was very noisy when pulling into port and the room would vibrate while porting. This was awful and I would say you should avoid any of the staterooms near the front of the ship.

Our excursions were fantastic. We booked two through Viator and one through Norwegian. Just beware when you book an outside excursion that you are responsible for getting back to the ship on time. A good rule of thumb is to give yourself a two hour window in case anything happens.
In Puerto Vallarta we booked a Taco Tour with Local Guide. Here is the link for this tour.
In Mazatlan we booked a City Tour and Observatory. Here is the link for this tour.
In Cabo San Lucas we booked a tour through Norwegian. It was the Luxury Day Sailing and Snorkeling. Here is the link to that excursion.

Overall, we had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend Norwegian Cruise Line.

On this episode, my guest Nicole talks about her recent trip to Disneyland in March of 2024. She was there on a solo trip celebrating her birthday. She has some great tips about using Genie+, gathering character signatures for her birthday, and how she spent her time at Disney Channel Nite. If you are considering an After Dark Event at Disneyland, you will want to listen to her experience. She also has some great stats at the end of the episode about how much she was able to accomplish in her three park days.
She stayed at the Candlewood Suites Anaheim which is a Good Neighbor Hotel and can be booked as part of at Disney package. There is an ART bus station directly outside the hotel and you can purchase passes to ride the bus to and from the park.
