  • Digital Nomads Do you Value and Appreciate your Freedom
    Sep 25 2024

Remember the days of corporate life, where every move was scrutinized, and micromanagement was the norm? As a digital nomad, those rigid structures are a thing of the past, but over time, the freedom you once craved can become something you take for granted.

When you’re focused on the daily grind, it’s easy to forget the constraints you left behind—the endless meetings, the lack of autonomy, the clock-watching. Without mindfulness, the freedom you now have as a digital nomad can lose its value, leading to complacency and a lack of gratitude for the lifestyle you worked so hard to achieve.

In this episode I got triggered by a quote that spiralled me in a reflective mode. And my question to you is? Do you take your freedom for granted? I will explore why it’s important to stay connected to the reasons you chose this path, and how to rekindle your appreciation for the unparalleled freedom you enjoy as a digital nomad.

Would you like to respond what came up for you in your reflection? Or give a shout out your episode? Get your voice heard on my podcast! You can send me a voice note via: https://www.speakpipe.com/palmtreemoments

  • Why Digital Nomads Are Not on a Permanent Vacation
    Sep 4 2024

In this episode I delve into a common misconception about the digital nomad lifestyle. Remote workers, Location Independent Entrepreneurs and digital nomad freelancers are not on holiday!!!

I discus the challenges of balancing work with travel, the blurred lines between personal and professional time, and the importance of understanding your unique energy to create a fulfilling life.

This episodes highlights the reality of working remotely from different environments, the struggle with being “online and creating time to tne out or even do a digital detox.

And then there is the inner conflict of balancing work responsibilities with the desire to explore new destinations. In this episode I mention my focus playlist that enables me to trick my brain in “going into work mode”. You can listen to that playlist via Spotify:

I also address how Human Design can be a valuable tool to figure out how you are wired and what your subconscious needs are.

On my website you can check how you are "wired" by filling in your birth day, place & birth time: https://www.palmtreemoments.com/chart
