  • The Axe Man of New Orleans with Ryan Winters
    Aug 12 2023

This week on True Criminals Keith and I sat down with Ryan Winters to talk about his new book Wake the Devil

Ryan had a lot to say about New Orleans life and some of the criminal activity he has gotten up to in The Big Easy. He does actually call hamburgers steamed hams. It's wild. We also discussed running away and roof top jumping and just a silly little gabfest between three guys trying to make it in this crazy world. You can find Ryan's work on Amazon or wherever you get your books.

Thanks to Ryan for stopping by

    Thanks Keith for helping interview

  • Barbenheimer w/Richard Opper(heimer?)
    Jul 28 2023

They said it couldn't be done but we did it. It wasn't right for the planet and it put us on a path to annihilation but we did it. We smashed up a review of Barbenheimer with an interview with the former Attorney General of Guam, Richard Opper. He has a crime-fiction book called The Body In The Barrel to promote and some crime to discuss. He sat down with Keith and I to talk about international crimes and the history of Guam and all sorts of stuff.

Before that, Rachel and I break down "Whose The Real Criminal" in a review of both Barbie and Oppenheimer. If you think about it, it's very subtle, but I think the criminal is the same for both movies.

    Like books, check it out.

Thanks to Justin Wells for Music

Thanks to Rachel and Keith for help

Thanks to Richard Opper, check out his book The Body In The Barrel

  • Mini Ep About SAG-AFTRA and RFK Jr: Whose The Real Criminal
    Jul 21 2023

We were taking this week off because shit has just been too busy. But, it doesn't take much to sit down with Rachel and rant real quick about some of the real problems out there. So we sat down and rapped quickly about what a garbage person RFK Jr is turning out to be and the "real criminal" with the current strikes going on in Hollywood.

Christians should start their own thing called Holy-Wood... well, there's a free idea for you.

In the Greenwhich-Meantime, check out this ep. Hope you like it. Thanks for your support, please tell a friend and share, like, dance, and all of the above. We will be back next week with a guest interview.

  • The Final AI Segment For Now w/Morgan and The NuDis Colony
    Jul 14 2023

Alright, it's been a long trip but we're finally almost there again. This week we have a guest, Morgan, in the second segment. Morgan and I ChatGPT'd about the AI problem. I try to get some crime info from her but I fail. I do get close to the bottom of this AI biz that is popping up like whack-a-moles all over the place. I tried to make it sound like... I don't know. I'm just playing around when I edit.

First we finish our talk with The NuDis Colony from the past few weeks. Brent and Ross really help us wrap up the series. Do we get an answer to who the real criminal is? I think we might. You'll have to check it out and see.

Thanks to Justin Wells for Music

Thanks to Morgan and The NudisColony for their input on this menace.

    Thanks to you for listening.

  • Arson and Old Lace: A 4th of July mini episode
    Jun 30 2023

Last week we ended in the middle of a story. Some would call that part one. The smart thing to do would be, follow that up with part two, thus completing the circuit. We're not gonna do that. We will be back next week with the rest of our discussion with The NuDis Colony and our Art Crimes discussion and delve even deeper into AI talk. We really get to the bottom of it.

In the Greenwich Meantime, we put together a short little fun talk around fire, fireworks, and a small mess of non-sense. It was just for funzies. Hope you like it.

You can contact us with your own stories or to just yell at us in general on socials at true.criminals.podcast or @CriminalsTrue and you can email us directly truecriminalsjailpod@gmail.com

    Thanks for listening.

Thanks to Scotty and Keith for recording even if it didn't all make it.

Thanks to Justin Wells for music

Thanks to the LA City bus driver for taking a chance on an unknown kid.

    And thank you again.

  • Art Theft and AI part 1 w/Astra the Dragon and The NuDis Colony
    Jun 22 2023

We've embarked on a journey of the mind as we dive deeper and deeper into the void. The vertical is forbidden and all is lost, and yet we go on. Prepare to die, in Spittlefield... Or just enjoy this weeks episode with guests Astra the Dragon and the NuDis Colony. Astra is an artist and musician out of DFW who talked with us for a bit about sex, drugs, and rock and roll theft. We are trying to suss out (I don't think I'm pronouncing or spelling that correctly) everything behind what is art and what it means to steal it.

We also continue our weeks long chat with Brent and Ross from The NuDis Colony. They host a NuMetal Podcast wherever you find your favorite podcasts. As other musicians and artists themselves we go even deeper into this subject with no definitive answer. It's a deep and throbbing vein of a topic that only gets more intense the further we go in. Sit back in your favorite easy chair and enjoy this compact disc, after you burn it onto a compact disc. We will do our best to entertain.

Thanks to Astra the Dragon for talking with us and for providing music

Thanks to Brent and Ross from The NuDis Colony for their input on this veiny subject and for having the highest T in the land.

Thank you to my wife Rachel for her help
