  • Resumen

  • “Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.” -Norman Maclean "A River Runs Through It".

  • Interview With Katy Jackson - Aransas County Voters Coalition
    Oct 16 2020

As I do more of these interviews, I keep being amazed at how reasonable these people are.  They aren't political Luddites.  (Look that up when you have a chance.)  They aren't especially contentious.  They're doing exactly what we are supposed to do as citizens.

  • Interview With Wendy Laubach - Transparency Personified
    Oct 18 2020

You have to admire someone who has principles and sticks to them.  At least I do.  Wendy is committed to transparency in government.  She is also willing to represent her constituents, even when she might not fully agree.  She is a rare example of what a representative government is supposed to look like.  She is fearless in speaking up, even though I'm certain it doesn't help her popularity on the Commissioners Court.

This interview went a little longer than I normally like, but the time sped by and there was much more to say.  Hopefully next time.

  • Second Interview With Capt. Tommy Moore - ACND
    Oct 20 2020

Less about the upcoming election, and more about ACND's role in the community, Captain Tommy Moore mixes good information with a sense of humor.
