  • Exciting times, its the first wildcard choice episode! Every season, Tom and Paddy will each pick an album that may not make it onto the pod in usual circumstances, and we'll dissect and talk nonsense about it as usual. This week it's Paddy's turn, and what else could we expect but Steely Dan. Aja is possibly the definition of a musical labour of love. This is a studio band spending possibly millions of record label funds to tuck themselves away in LA for nearly a year recording what they thought was the perfect record. Was it, though, Steely Dan?
