  • On May 24, 2004, Brooke Wilberger was home for the summer and currently working with her sister at an apartment complex for a seasonal job. Just like any other day, she met with her sister who handed her a list of jobs to complete and set off. This day would not be like any ordinary day however, because almost as soon as Brooke headed off and began cleaning, she got snatched by a man posed to be a FedEx delivery driver. Brooke Wilberger was never seen alive again and over the span of 6 months as detectives dealt with a crazy panty thief, nonstop ringing of the tip line, and a woman 1400 miles away in New Mexico to get abducted and attacked for the killer to finally be caught. This is the case of Brooke Wilberger and Joel Courtney, the abductor who continued (and would've never stopped) committing crimes until he was apprehended.
