  • Hello Friends! My name is Steph; I am a middle aged wife, mom...human living in the Mid-West just trying make the best out of the life I've been given and it turns out I've been through some shit. I've recently been diagnosed with PTSD from a lifetime of traumas. I am now unpacking what it all means. I've been open with my mental health struggles & openly share my stories to anyone that listens now I am using this podcast to help me heal & if it helps one person feel less alone in the struggles they are going thru then I consider this podcast a success.     Hey everyone!  Here's the 5th episode & today we are unpacking April 2021.  With a little extra thrown in...I know you are shocked. LOL

    A couple things worth sharing: 1.) I mention Bug & a branch.  He has some scrapes but was not badly hurt.  I should have completed the story with that.  2.) Around the 18-25 mark Dexter makes an appearance.  Consider yourself warned, you will hear tag clanking, dog yelp because he has an ear infection & a bunch of snarfling as he tried to get on my lap by eating my hand! Lol  

    Remember that brains are hard and everyone is going through something; so just be kind to yourself & others. Also check in with each other because I can personally say that sometimes that’s all it takes to make a big difference in someone's moment & you may feel better too!

    Hey everyone! Well the 4th episode didn't go as planned in my head...but it is here now.  I finally have my s#!t back together & I'm gonna talk about it. Consider yourself warned when I relistened to edit I found myself LOL'ing & tearing up all in the same minute.     Hey everyone! Today I had planned to take things a little lighter but then my had other plans. I'm learning to just go with it because eventually we get there.

    Today we are going to talk about the story of how my parents named me & how that story helped me name the podcast. t really does feel like the story became a piece of my identity.
