The shy girl from the west end, who had gone missing days earlier, had been savagely raped, beaten, and shot through the heart, her nearly naked form cruelly discarded.

What makes this case all the more disturbing is the evidence that this may not have been an isolated incident. The reports of other young women being targeted by a man posing as a school official and luring them with similar tactics point to the terrifying possibility that Julie may have been the victim of a serial killer.
