As we delve into growth mindset and the art and science of teaching music, it's a good idea to discuss an important concept: projection.

In this episode we take time to define it with a lot of examples. Then we talk about how negative projection can easily make its way into our day-to-day mood when teaching, our mannerisms and our teaching methods and prompts.

It's a pretty deep topic that requires some honest introspection in yourself, but the benefits can be extremely rewarding to your personal outlook on your career and your student retention rates
