    The team continues telling the story of Pond Farm, a 90 acre patch of land in the Ypres Salient that saw years of fighting during WW1. Professor David O'Keefe, and filmmaker Wayne Abbott with special guest Stijn Butaye discuss the opportunity they had to film on Pond Farm when Stijn and his family dig deep into the infamous blue clay to enlarge one of their ponds. The team gets the chance to search for war artifacts with a focus on the Battle of Passchendaele in 1917. It's extraordinary what they uncover, incredible century old artifacts and unexploded ordinace preserved as new in the blue clay. The stunning footage in this episode has never been seen outside of the UK produced for a show called Buried War. Professor David O'Keefe and filmmaker Wayne Abbott interview special guest Stijn who has lived his entire life on Pond Farm in the heart of Flanders. Stijn tells the history behind the farm, the fighting that went on during WW1 and how the fall out of the war still affects the people of Flanders over 100 years after WW1 ended. They discuss the adventurous search in a remote area on Hong Kong Island for a cache of lost rifles from the battle in 1941. The team go into detail on their investigating of a small artifact Craig found that they amazingly connect to a specific soldier and then a family.     WAR JUNK: THE PODCAST Episode 1
    In the first podcast episode Professor David O'Keefe and filmmaker Wayne Abbott tell the story behind creating the TV series War Junk with a focus on producing the pilot episode on the BATTLE OF HONG KONG. Most of the stories have never been told including how they first planned on producing a series called 'War Junkies' that evolved into 'War Junk'. They discuss their experiences filming the pilot on the Battle of Hong Kong with special guest war relic hunter Craig Mitchell.
