During their Discussion Lory tells Kristy about what inspired her to write this unique fictional romantic comedy book about a relationship coach who was considered to be number one at his job and he even had a on air radio talk show called Love talk with Boz, until he feels he was cursed by a woman one day because he woke up the next day as a man stuck in a woman's body!

  • Critically Acclaimed Composer, Pianist, Vocalist, and Musical Director - Lynn Portas

    Lynn Portas is a critically acclaimed composer, pianist, vocalist, and musical director. A native New Yorker, she has performed and recorded extensively, with her theatre works featured in productions for decades.

    Frequently performing as a singer and keyboardist in the New York tristate area, Lynn’s early credits as a musical director include the Off-Broadway hit Tony and Tina’s Wedding, as well as Totally Tubular Time Machine, Finnegan’s Farewell, and Channeling the King. She is a member of the nationally renowned BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop and has been selected as a composer for the prestigious ASCAP Musical Theater Workshop at Merkin Hall in New York City.

    Portas is also active as a studio musician, writing and recording across genres like jazz, pop, and contemporary house music. She collaborated with the legendary Richie Havens on the Tex Murphy Overseer soundtrack at Bernard Fox Studio. Her latest track, “Reveal,” co-written with lyricist Chauncey Dandridge, has been lighting up dance floors downtown, even before its official release.

    Promposal is a debut young adult novel that combines timeless teenage angst with the eternal drama surrounding senior prom, and adds a ticking time clock to the mix to create a fast paced and relatable story of high school romance, regret, and redemption.

    Jim has been on a writing adventure where he writes his experiences with autism, healthcare and suicidal thoughts and makes them into articles for the world to gain more knowledge and understanding of some of the struggles that a person with autism may experience.

    Jim was diagnosed later in life with Autism and has struggled with employment and other daily life issues since.

    Through writing and coming on to podcast Jim is finding a voice as an autism advocate and a suicide attempt survivor to help others.
