Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

This story was written at a time when work was just a little too hectic for anyone's liking! Being so busy you can hardly take a breath isn't what we're on earth to experience. There are rewards that come with taking a moment.

On that note...put your feet up and join me for a waffle-free moment.

Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

Art is a tricky thing. You can't control what people think. Whether people like or don't like it. If you take opinions too personally, it won't end well. This story is about an artist who didn't take feedback well...and the person who made it right. It's a story about ego and peacemakers. It's about the one to whom credit should really go but rarely does.

With that in mind...fill your mug with something delicious, and join me for a waffle-free moment.

Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

This is a story about finding your own path and not expecting others to forge your path for you, especially if you don't know where you want to go!

While I wrote and recorded this tale, I found this quote from Joseph Campbell:

“If you can see your path laid out in front of you

step by step, you know it's not your path.

Your own path you make with every step

you take. That's why it's your path."

Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

We all have visions and plans, wishes and desires for things we want and ways we want to be. But somehow, year after year, we look back on our lives only to get annoyed with ourselves because we still haven't got the thing we want. When I'm honest with myself, I have to accept it's because I haven't done, every day, the thing that needed to be done to get the result.

The trouble is, daily action is hard, especially when you don't see an immediate result.

That's what this story is about: daily action and how sometimes that action leads to something quite different, something we didn't expect but something we need even more.

Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

I wrote this little story after weeks and weeks of saying, "I can't do that thing... I can't go to that place... I can't see that person... I've got too much work on." Enough was enough. It didn't make sense. Work was becoming an excuse not to be in the world! And that's how Bromenin and Korelli came to be.

Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

This is an odd little tale about how we came to compare ourselves. How random our measures are. How irrelevant the qualities are that often we value most. The impact can be devastating not only on an individual but on entire societies. But still... we do it.

Welcome To The Waffle-Free Storytelling Podcast!

Humans are strange. On the one hand, we're convinced we're the greatest beings ever to walk the universe. On the other hand, we clearly know very little about anything!

This Waffle-Free Story goes a little way to explaining why.

When the story is done, refill your mug and enjoy a wander around https://tinakonstant.com/ for more waffle-free tales and other stuff and nonsense.
