  • Steve Hanke's Dire Warning: Recession Inevitable as Money Supply Contracts
    Jun 5 2024

Professor Steve Hanke reveals why he believes a recession will strike the second half of 2024 and how you can protect your portfolio.

In this episode of Wealthion, host Andrew Brill welcomes back Steve Hanke, Professor of Applied Economics at Johns Hopkins University and former advisor to President Reagan.

Professor Hanke provides his in-depth analysis of the current economic landscape, breaks down the contraction of the money supply, rising unemployment, and the likelihood of an impending recession. Hanke critiques the Federal Reserve's recent actions, describing them as significant monetary blunders that have set the stage for an inevitable downturn. Insightful and thought provoking

The host does a great job of presenting complicated and current market and economic information in a manner that can be understood by someone who passed high school economics.
Some guests are very mainstream and some are a little out there but Mr Taggart never loses focus. Whether the stock market tanks or aliens from another planet land on the White House lawn this podcast will give you the information you need to get a handle on your wealth and finances while everyone else panic buys or sells.

Really Good Market Insights

The information comes from some of the smartest and best economists around. It feels bearish to someone that's grown up in the crazy bull markets of the last 10 years, but the guests really help reality set in and keep me headed the right direction for retirement.

Crass and Vulgar Guest

It's hard for me to understand how this guy Kiyosaki has become so rich. He's poorly spoken, crass and vulgar. His views on politics and admiration for Trump are disgusting. On the plus side if a moron like this can do it then obviously anyone can. So maybe I will read his book. On a more compassionate note, maybe this guy Robert Kiyosaki is suffering dementia or Alzheimers, If so I apologize for my criticism.
