  • Walt Disney World Trip Recap with Guest Creator: Kris from Happily Ever Park Hoppers
    Jun 6 2024

    Send us a Text Message.

Kris is back on the podcast as we recap our Walt Disney World vacation together! We had the ultimate girls' trip, starting with a brunch and meeting up with friends at Summerhouse on the Lake, located at Disney Springs. We also visited a candle shop, picked up some scents, and enjoyed the best activities around Mother's Day at Disney Springs. Then we had dinner at 1900 Park Fare, the newest character meal to return to Walt Disney World Resort, located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. We topped it off with a visit to the Enchanted Rose, which is the second-floor lounge also located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.

We spent the next day at all four parks doing a Four Park challenge, which consisted of riding a roller coaster, meeting a character, and having a snack. We walked well over 13 miles this day but were able to do a lot at all of the parks. We're even giving you all the tips and tricks on how to do your own Four Park challenge, especially if you have only one day at the park and want to maximize it.

We ended our trip with breakfast at 'Ohana, which is the best friends' breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. Then we had a magical afternoon at Disney's Animal Kingdom, where we met some special characters during the Earth Week celebration.

Some of the most popular resorts on the property are located in this area, with easy access to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. With multiple modes of transportation, such as the Friendship Boats, the Skyliner, complementary buses, and walkability to these parks, it's no wonder why people want to stay here. I will discuss each of the resorts, sharing my favorite aspects about them as well as some things I wish could change. I will also provide a general ranking to help you decide which resort is best for you. In this area, you have the Disney BoardWalk Inn and Villas, Yacht and Beach Club, and the Marriott resorts - Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve.
