  • Wes Pierson is a captain and part owner of Bight Sportfishing. He has spent years and years searching for some of the biggest pelagic fish from tuna, swordfish and white seabass. He enjoys the dedication and knowledge it takes to seek out the elusive fish of white seabass.

    But Wes isn't just about fishing, on his day off, we decided to hike around in the high desert looking for Chukar and Quail. I liked his approach to being outside. His interest in adventure, animals, clean food and simply being outside more brought about a peace and wisdom that was refreshing to be around.
