Hey, Hey it's Saturday! The post-match edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast is coming to you early this week with a rare Saturday night show.

Joel Helmes and Steve Stretton have mustered the energy to spend 50-odd minutes talking about one of the most disappointing nights in Wests Tigers history - last night at Shark Park (Caltex Field? What is it called this week?).

On the agenda - the big list of one-word submissions from members of the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum (thanks everyone).

There's a one-word submission from a celebrity Wests Tigers fan and also from a current Wests Tigers player!

The boys talk about what the poor performance means for the team.

Where the showing places the club in our rebuild, and what it means for Benji Marshall as an NRL coach.

There's also a round of Buy, Sell, or Hold as well.

It's a tough go being a Wests Tigers fan at the moment...or just this decade if you want to be more accurate...but we hope you enjoy this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast.

And don't forget to get along to the Ambush event next Saturday in Gosford (all the details can be found here).

The boys give their thoughts on last weekend's loss to the Melbourne Storm, this is followed by a game of Buy, Sell and Hold. Topics include Stefano's contract situation and should Luke Laulilii be the starting winger for season 2025.

As Declan was the only one that completed his homework, the boys discuss his preferred lineup for season 2025, where do we need changes and can Garry and Declan agree on our future lineup?

Eddie then throws in his second game for the night with his new game Start, Sit or Sell. Let us know your thoughts on this new game, is it a keeper or should we bin it?

Finally, Yioti digs up all his obscure facts for this week's edition of the quiz.

The Wests Tigers again fell short on the weekend with a 40 points to 28 loss to the Storm at Leichhardt Oval.

But while everyone agrees that it was a game that the Tigers maybe should have, or at least could have won, the performance has left many of us scratching our heads.

On the one hand, another 40 points were conceded in a performance that included some frustrating errors, a sin bin, and defensive lapses.

Conversely, the guys just scored 28 points against the NRL ladder leaders.

So, where exactly are the Wests Tigers at the moment? Are we finally starting to turn the corner and become a consistently competitive side? Or, is this just a team that met a side that was happy to keep their noses in front and get the two points?

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, Eddie Otto and Steve Stretton try to answer those questions.

There's a look at some of the individual performances from the Tigers, and the many 'One Word' responses from the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum after the game.

Sprinkle in a little contract talk and details on an upcoming Ambush fan event with a difference, and you have another big WTP!

Well, it was good while it lasted, but welcome back to the reality that is rugby league this decade for Wests Tigers fans.

The side succumbed to the high-flying Roosters 40-6 at Allianz Stadium on Sunday night. It was a bleak night all around.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, we start with the very many 'One Word' submissions that have come in from the Wests Tigers Podcast Forum.

Joel Helmes, Eddie Otto, and Declan McCutcheon then take a look at what went wrong and why we just couldn't match it with one of the Premiership heavyweights.

There's a healthy discussion around the use of the Sin Bin by the referees, and ask whether Benji Marshall needs to step up his criticism of the way our games are officiated.

There's also a discussion on the performance of Stefano Utoikamanu with the question being posed - is he an elite prop?

And the boys also discuss the new Wests Tigers home game plan announced today.

What is a mid-week Pod without Eddie Otto? Tonight, we find out the answer to that question as Garry takes over the host seat and is joined by Podcast regular Steve and guest contributors Nick and Jordan.

The boys start by looking back at the victory against the Canberra Raiders and we get the teams one-word submissions plus a game of The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Discussion then shifts to the contract negotiations with Stefano Utoikamanu, will he be at the Tigers in 2025 and who would the guys see as a replacement should he leave?

There is an in-depth preview of this Sunday's game against the Roosters, who are the dangers from the Roosters side and how do we get the win against one of the more stacked squads in the NRL.

Steve that takes control and runs the panel through Yioti's quiz, can the new guys challenge Garry's supremacy in the weekly test of Wests Tigers Trivia.

Sit back, grab a Vodka and Red Bull and enjoy the latest edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast.

What's this? Two post-victory editions of the Wests Tigers Podcast on successive weekends!

The Wests Tigers shrugged off a miserable recent record at Campbelltown Stadium yesterday with an energetic performance to put the Raiders out of commission.

Winning 48-24, the Wests Tigers have now won as many games in 2024 as they did in the entire 2022 and 2023 seasons.

On this edition of the Wests Tigers Podcast, a late shuffle sees Eddie Otto step into the host's chair and is joined by Garry Watson and Declan McCutcheon.

The boys discuss the big win, including some of the head-turning individual performances from guys like Adam Doueihi and Alex Seyfarth.

There's also plenty of attention paid to the enthusiasm being brought to the team in recent times by Wests Tigers youngsters such as Lachlan Galvin and Luke Laulilii.

Campbelltown gets discussed too with the die-hard Wests Tigers fans getting behind the side yesterday.

And where to from now? Are these two wins over the Titans and Raiders the start of a much better end to the season and that means handing the spoon over to someone else (hopefully Parra!)?

We hope you enjoy this big post-win edition of the pod!
