What Is Project 2025? (with Heather Cox Richardson)

  • Resumen

  • On a Monday night in the middle of summer, hundreds of thousands of people watched a virtual event where a historian spoke about a 900-page Republican playbook. It sounds like some DC-based strategist’s dream, but it was just another day at Red Wine & Blue!

This past Monday July 15th, Heather Cox Richardson joined us to talk about Project 2025, and we wanted to share the audio of that conversation with you. Whether you missed the event or just wanted to listen to Heather again, please enjoy this conversation about Project 2025.

demonizing a plan to clean up American government

The discussion is a lot of scary talking points. The idea is to polarize people against Project 2025. Laughingly, it discourages participants from even reading it in detail or speaking about certain pages of the plan because what is more important is getting people emotionally charged up against it. It also mischaracterizes the proponents of the plan as radical. Listening to this will likely scare the audience about emotionally charged topics such as abortion, voting rights, race relations. These are the typical topics that take the audience away from rational thinking and looking at facts, to having intense emotional reactions. This is done on purpose to disorient groups of moms, victims of this fear mongering by design. Go ahead listen to this, then go read the actual Project 2025 and get the truth.
