  • Michelle Kenney, M.Ed spent 12 years in public schools as a teacher and counselor before she became a Hand in Hand certified instructor in 2015. Hand in Hand is an organization that teaches the importance of being a calm and connected parent. Michelle also hosts the podcast "Peace and Parenting." 

    In this conversation, Michelle discusses why staying calm when your child is acting out is the key to being connected with your kid. She stresses the importance of making your child feel heard and safe.
