Words represent beliefs, morals, prejudices, and principles—sometimes in ways that shape an audience's perceptions. I became a nurse in 2007 and have had stints in the emergency department, medical intensive care unit, neuro intensive care unit, coronary care unit, post anesthesia care unit, electrophysiology lab, flight nursing in the U.S. Air Force, and clinical nursing instructorship.
