Acerca de esta escucha
In the first episode of What Duct Tape Can't Fix, we look at one of the biggest, and most generic problems in the built world - energy use.
The big concern is that buildings use a lot of energy, but we don't always know how it's being used. We can't just turn the lights off or turn the heat down, so it's important that we start to figure out some of the likely causes for what is using energy in our buildings.
I look at a few of the technologies that are using energy that humans have really come to rely on over the years - lights, elevators, and air conditioning.
Finally, we have some solutions from our audience for what to do about excessive energy use.
If YOU have a solution for a problem facing our buildings - leave a voice memo at https://www.speakpipe.com/ducttapefix
Thanks for listening
