  • In this chapter, the journalist Adam Martín talks to eight professionals from Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology: Joaquin Mateo; Cheska Cadacio; Dario Ruiz; Jonathan R. Whitfield; Cristina Viaplana; Javi Gonzalo; Sonia Valverde and Silvia Núñez.

    They work in different areas related to cancer research, but are part of the same team whose goal is the same: to improve the treatment of cancer patients and their quality of life, either from the laboratory, from the clinic, from the management and analysis of data, from attracting grants to help researchers to continue with their projects, from the areas of support to research such as finance, purchasing, general services... All of them are essential in cancer research in a center like VHIO.
