  • The Soften Journey: A Journey of Opening as Love
    Aug 26 2024

In this fourth solo episode I share the details of the journey that I have been guiding women through for the past decade; it is the journey of moving from the mind into the heart, and living and loving from there. This is a journey that I call SOFTEN.

    .

"Until and unless we are able to exalt our our inner masculine, we will never be able to birth the fullness of our feminine, the fullness of our Shakti." This Erica Jade quote, along with David Deida's book "The Way of the Superior Man" were the inspiration for my personal journey of softening and opening as love. And my personal journey has inspired the full offering that I share now with my heart work.

    .

In this episode I share the details of this journey: the pre-requisite of inner masculine exploration and exalting (inspired by Jade's quote) and the three intimate circles of sisterhood that follow which give us the wisdom, the embodiment and the inspiration to soften and to open as the Love that we are.

    .

I could not be the woman that I am without my own precious teachers, and without the work and words of these teachers as living wisdom for what I practice, embody and teach. I am a forever student on this path of love and devotion.

    .

If this episode gives you a tingle, you can find all of the details of the SOFTEN Journey on my website here: www.patricia-russo.com, or please feel free to send me an email or comment on this episode: patricia@wholehealedholy.com.

  • On the Inside: The Story of Deep Healing in Women's Prisons with Nikki Weaver
    Feb 8 2024

In this episode, Nikki Weaver, the founder of "On the Inside" shares a powerful memory of witnessing her mother's remarkable ability to alter the energy in a space, and create the potential for deep healing in a second. This memory, and the memory of her mother lives in the work Nikki now does for women in prisons through her project called "On the Inside," that utilizes storytelling, theater and the healing arts.

    .

Playful. Honest. Curious. Nikki is an innovative creator and passionate communicator, driven by a desire to understand other points of view. She brings a deep sense of listening, curiosity and an open heart to any team she is a part of. She believes in empowering women through connection to our bodies, each other, and our spirits. After losing her mother at the age of ten and moving to Australia ten days later, Nikki began to look for her mother in other women. This body of work stems from her mother’s work of working with incarcerated men in the state of California. Nikki holds a B.F.A. from The Australian Academy of Dramatic Arts and an M.F.A. from George Washington University and The Shakespeare Theatre. Her toolbox is filled with being a yoga teacher, a massage therapist, reiki practitioner, meditator, a mom to two wild girls, and a partner that surprises her every day. She has facilitated circles for ages 4-80-year-olds, offering mindfulness and creativity practices. Nikki loves to stand on her head, running at sunrise (23 marathons to boot!), getting creative with her kids and family, and creating national and international wellness retreats. To be on the inside in circle with women has been the biggest gift of her life. It is where all the walls come down. A co-founder of Portland Playhouse, Nikki is the Founder of On The Inside.
