Donald Trump is a polarising public figure. As a former president of the United States of America, he brought in policies that many did not agree with but others loved. At one point in time, he had the world at his feet, and then he suddenly fell from grace.

He faces a multitude of state and federal indictments, and as of 30th May 2024, he became the first former U.S. president to be criminally convicted of felony crimes when he was found guilty of all 34 charges in a scheme to illegally influence the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential elections by paying hush money to a porn actress by the name of Stormy Daniels.

Donald Trump still has a litany of outstanding charges to answer for. However, he is eligible to stand as a candidate to become the new president, and he has taken the opportunity to face the incumbent, Joe Biden, for a seat in the Oval Office. Will Donald Trump win the 2024 U.S.A. presidential election? If he does, what will it mean for the U.S.A. and the rest of the world? As the leader of the most powerful nation in the free world, will he seek revenge and retribution, or will he be a just ruler?
