The future of our planet could be determined by what American politicians put into the next FARM BILL, which currently gives MASSIVE subsidies to animal agriculture, to produce cheap meat and dairy. But, the meat and dairy industry is a HUGE contributor to climate change. Our government claims it’s fighting climate change while subsidizing the very industry that’s largely causing it. Will politicians vote to continue this dangerously unsustainable status quo for the next 5 years? Activists from Free From Harm continue to speak truth to power. At one so-called “listening session,” activists stood up to a pro-factory farming politician to deliver tough questions about the massive bailouts to animal agriculture, the spread of diseases like bird flu and how Big Ag Big Dollars have corrupted politics.
