    Intermission January 2, 2024

Regular podcast listeners know I use this intro music to introduce my podcast guest for that particular episode.  But today, this isn’t an episode; it is an intermission to inform you of new and exciting things to come.  This is me leveling up; over the course of recording episodes for my podcast, I have learned some valuable information.  Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my podcast the way it is, but I’m also challenging myself to grow and deepen that love.  I am taking the podcast to new heights.  Stay tuned for a brand-new episode in the first week of February 2024.

  • Modern Poetry for Today's Times with Ariana Moulton
    Dec 12 2023

In today’s episode, I had the opportunity to interview Ariana Moulton, wife, mother, artist, poet, and athlete. Ariana is truly a product of nature and nurturing; having grown up with a supportive family in scenic Vermont, Ariana takes this inspiration and upbringing and shares it with her students, in her poetry, and most importantly, for me, at least in this podcast episode. Join us today for some poetry and a warm, casual, thoughtful conversation—something to get you through this chilly winter season. So please grab a cup of coffee or tea and give it a listen. Or, as Ariana and I would do, take this episode on an hour-long brisk run.

Ariana Moulton is a 3rd grade teacher and writer living in Chicago with her two daughters and husband.

  • Life Disrupted (Part 2) with Tracy E. Baldwin
    Aug 30 2023

In today’s episode, I have brought back Tracy Baldwin, Author of Life Disrupted – Finding your way forward when the world is upside down.  Tracy, as you may know, was my guest on episode four of this podcast, where we discussed her book and its associated ideas.  At the end of each chapter in Tracy’s book, she asks some relevant, thought-provoking questions, and we thought it’d be fun to flip the script and have her interview me.  This is a first for her; I think she did a wonderful job. There is no outro to today’s episode, but I’d like to leave you with the term Seva, which in my yoga teachings means being of service to others.  We both hope this episode will serve you and your soul.
