I then turn my attention Gavin Newsome and the California High Speed Rail Project that has yet to be completed since its stat date back in 2008. The High Speed Rail Project now faces a $90 billion spending gap and an overall cost of $126 billion after 18 years of ongoing politics, bureaucracy, and alleged fraud.

Potential nominees compete through multi-round endorsements from constituents (ordinary voters), with endorsements serving as the sole "currency."

Wealth, political connections, outside money, and traditional party gatekeepers have no influence.
