In this episode we talk about Round 3 of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at the 2024 Xross Hard Enduro Rally in Serbia.

Spoiler alert! We have a new winner, with Manuel Lettenbichler unable to compete due to a knee injury the top step of the podium is open and waiting for a new and deserving rider to take their place. We see a change up not only with Wade Young taking 1st in the race but also moving up into 1st in the pro championship standings. Teodor and Micheal Walkner take 2nd and 3rd respectively. We can’t forget about our Juniors with the Brightmore brothers on the podium as well as James Moore. Lastly, Tjasa takes home the Women’s Hard Enduro Performance Award supported by 24MX.

This was a heated race not only in competition but also in temperature with over 30 Degrees in Serbia. Unlike our air conditioning system the riders didn’t give up and really gave a solid performance. We discuss prologue, race days 1,2 and 3 as well as have some exclusive interviews with your top 4 finishers of the race.

We welcome Valentino Hutter onto the World Hard Enduro Podcast. A 16 year old X-Grip rider who is making waves in the hard enduro community. We discuss how he got into enduro riding, past achievements as well as his previous performances. We end off with some suggestions for amateur riders and some fun personal questions.

A two-time Austrian Enduro Youth Champion, winning in 2022 and 2023. At the Erzbergrodeo, he finished 25th in the Prologue in 2023 and 11th in 2024. He ended up 33rd overall, making him the third-best Austrian in the race. He also finished 2nd in the silver class at Red Bull Romaniacs.

We discuss the value it brings to a rider being part of a team like X-Grip and how they assist before and during a racing season.

We welcome Matthew Green onto the World Hard Enduro Podcast after his 11th place finish at the 2024 Erzbergrodeo. We discuss his experience at the race delving deeper into his thoughts about the race from a participants perspective. We also get a glimpse into the chaos that is the Erzberg parade.

In 2022 Matthew was crowned the first ever Hard Enduro Junior Champion and has already set the foundations for a successful racing career. Matthew talks about his experience with the world championship and his move to Italy.

He started racing competitively as a young boy and has many stories to tell about his earlier experiences as well as diving into the South African Hard enduro scene.

In this episode we talk about Round 2 of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at the 2024 Erzbergrodeo.

This race was wild! From skies and burnouts during the parade this event brought the entertainment from day one! Prologue consisted of 2 wet but fast days where 1300 riders pushed flat out to secure themselves a starting position on the first row for the main race. 10 rows of 50 riders lined up all the take on the iron giant.

The main race started off with total chaos and the surprises didn’t end there. We discuss all the highlights from the Sunday as well as the final results. We absolutely thrived watching the Red Bull live of this event and highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t watched it already.

In this episode we talk about Round 1 of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship at Valleys Hard Enduro. We discuss a recent hard enduro race that happened on the same weekend in Romania - Enduro Panorama which had some extreme weather conditions.

There is a lot to unpack with this race starting with Day 1 - Prologue/ Super Enduro where we saw some close competition between the top pro riders and some extreme maneuvers too. We highlight your top riders heading into day 2.

Qualification day consisted of 2 races giving the riders more opportunity to clock a fast lap time. With only 1min 40sec between the top 20 riders this ended up being a very surprising day! The top 3 riders in the championship walked away with the first points of the season at the end of day 2.

The last and most important day was the main race. In our last episode we each had different predictions on who would take the win. In the end our top picks were the riders standing top 3 on the podium. A race that came with conditions no one was expecting and a clear top winner heading into round 2.

In this episode we discuss some recent hard enduro races that have happened in the lead up to the first round of the hard enduro championship. We talk about Hard Enduro Arsenal, Extreme XL Lagares as well as Heaven or Hell Xtreme Enduro.

We recap on the 2024 Valleys Xtreme race that happened earlier this year and debate whether or not riders who attended this event have a competitive advantage leading into round one.

With Round one only a week away The Valleys Hard Enduro will be taking place from May 10-12.
