The heat in NXT was definitely turned all the way up as 8 competitors prepared themselves and challenged for championship gold. The heat proved too much for Wes Lee as he fell short to Oba Femi and is no longer able to challenge for the North American Championship, Sol Ruca wiped out as she failed to capture the title off of a red hot Kelani Jordan. Chase U could definitely use a crash course in the superstition of good luck charms after they asked theirs, in the form of Ridge Holland to stay back home as they battled Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the tag team titles. Roxanne Perez proved that she is the face of the Women's divison after defeating another worthy and very skilled opponent in Lola Vice. Lastly 4 men 25% chance at retaining/75% chance of losing; Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Shawn Spears and Je'Von Evans all battle for the NXT Championship. Flowers go out to all the men in this match as they put on one HELL of a clinic! Je'Von Evans even gaining praise from Brother Pyro being the freshest face to wrestling as a whole. Brother Pyro's pick 'All Ego' Ethan Page did pick up the win and is crowned your NEW NXT champion, however Pyro does agree that without the help of Shawn that he does not see Ethan winning the championship.

A fatal 4 way comes to us in the form of our main event when Trick Williams defends against 'All Ego' Ethan Page, Shawn Spears and Je'Von Evans, who will be the one to call themselves Mr. NXT? The opportunity of a lifetime has come and went, two superstars climbed their way to victory leaving 10 competitors in the dust. Drew McIntyre and Tiffany Stratton have sealed their fates and now have their futures in their hands, or at least they both did. During the World Heavyweight Championship match Drew cashed in turning a one on one match into a triple threat match, unfortunately for Drew he came up short and failed to successfully cash in his money in the bank contract due to interference by CM Punk. Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn showed that no matter how red hot and strong you are sometimes the vets just come out on top, we are hoping that Bron Breakker eventually gets another title shot. As you heard Brother Pyro and I are kinda split on our feelings about the main event but we are both excited to see where this takes these 6 men and this ongoing story line.

Sad news comes from the WWE after the IC title match concludes, Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect, The Dr. of Thuganomics, the jean short wearer himself John Cena has announced his retirement; there will be a farewell tour for him that will last from January 2025- December 2025 as we get one more year to say goodbye and thanks to someone who embodied a lot of our childhoods.

The Forbidden Door was opened and closed after another top tier pay per view. 2 titles changed hands and we crowned a new champion after being vacated. Mercedes Mone is now a double champion for the second time in her career, Tetsuya Niato is bring the IWGP championship back to Japan becoming the 8th and 10th champion to hold it. "Scapegoat" Jack Perry becomes your new TNT champion. An absolute clinic match was put on between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland as they fought tooth and nail for the AEW Championship even having a moment where Ospreay wanted to keep fighting but was all ready pretty rocked.

4 Scottish born superstars come home, each one challenging for a championship; however only 2 of the 4 were able to walk out of Glasgow champions. Congratulations to The Unholy Union Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn on capturing the Women's tag team championship. We heard a terrified AJ Stlyes utter the words "I Quit" at the hands of an unhinged Cody Rhodes, after the match we were surprised with a brawl from The Bloodline; coming to Cody's aid none other than Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. The Intercontinental match was not at all how Chad Gable envisioned it to be, none the less Sami Zayn retained his championship, and I believe it was said best on the kick off panel "Chad Gable coached Sami Zayn to beat Gunther because he thought it would be easier to beat Sami than it was to beat Gunther." Unfortunately for Gable it seems as if it may be harder to beat Sami. Piper Niven gave it her all but came up short against the veteran Bayley. Now on to the main event World Heavyweight championship on the line as Scotland's own Drew McIntyre challenged against Damien Priest, as these men fought hard against each other it was ultimately Drew's demons who would come back to haunt him in the form of CM Punk in a ref's shirt. Punk came in to call the match as the original ref was taken out and refused to finish the three count after Drew clearly had the match won. After the "Screw job in Scotland" as commentator Wade Barrett calls it Damien Priest would go on to retain his championship after the original ref was back in the ring.
