  • #xmen97 #xmen #marvel Following up after the original 1990s animated series, X-Men '97 picks up after the assassination of Charles Xavier, leader of the X-Men. As the team struggles to pick up the pieces, threats from the anti-mutant movement escalate after getting their hands on some sophisticated tech. After it is revealed that Magneto was bequeathed everything in Charles' will, he tries to honor his old friend by taking up his cause of peace for all of mankind. But when war falls at their feet, will Magneto and the X-Men be able to work together to bring about peace for the mutants?
