In this episode, I add a little bit more about innate immunity and explain how our adaptive immune system works.

As our listeners are from varied backgrounds, I am taking an approach like peeling an Onion. I will progressively elaborate the concepts in order to give a comprehensive understanding of the immune system.

I want that to serve as a foundation on which I can explain various serious diseases like SCD, Diabetes, HIV, Hepatitis B, TDT etc.

In this podcast channel, I will cover all these diseases as well as present latest update on Gene therapies for these conditions and how they operate and how they are performing in FDA clinical trials

In this episode we learn about how macrophages activate CD4 T Cell to kick start acquired immunity. In the next episode we will learn about B-Cells and how they create antibodies.

This podcast will lay the basic foundations of knowledge so that later on we can discuss HIV, Diabetes, SCD, TDT etc and also evaluate method of action and progress of gene therapies for these diseases in clinical trial.
