hi lovelies!!! this is the introductory episode to the new series, life of a premed, where i also have my first-ever guest!!

hi there! if you haven't listened to my intro please do!!

this episode introduces a second series that i will be doing alongside with my other series on dating. I will tell my story as a premed student, what it is like academically and how it affects my social life (or lack thereof). most of the things i will say on here are opinions that i have found i share with many other fellow premed classmates and friends who i have met in my classes over the past three years in college.

i am incredibly passionate about this topic. for those of you who are not premed, this will give you the real deal, go behind the curtain, beneath the surface, reveal the shit, hard truths, and learn about what it's like to be a student pursuing this career path.

i hope that this episode will open your eyes to a world beyond your own and change your perspectives and perceptions you might hold on this subject. i want you to try and understand our "species" if you will, and perhaps if you know others or have friends that are on the premed track help you understand where they are coming from, and as a result can help you learn how to be a better friend.

if you are a premed like me, stay for the whole episode; i guarantee that you will enjoy it. i hope that as you're listening your nodding your head time and time again. hopefully, my testimony makes you feel seen, that what i feel, what i say, and what im going through is completely relatable (maybe even to a T), the stories i share make you realize you've had similar experiences and ultimately i hope i can make you laugh (or cry).

there arent' very many people that are our age (20-24) that have a platform where they talk about this very specific niche of academic pursuit and i think that it is so important to have an honest conversation about. i am extremely excited to get to talk about this with you!!

in this episode, i am giving a message to people who are single during this time of year when it seems everyone is in a relationship. as a single myself, i hope this message helps get you through this season. we all know the holidays are a time when everyone seems to have someone to do all the couple stuff with and for a single person it sucks. November-January (not to mention Feb) can be a difficult time for many reasons and makes us even more aware of our relationship status than other times of the year. i created this message not only for single people but also as a reminder for myself i needed to hear to get me through the rest of this year. please listen to the end and i hope this helps. i appreciate you!!

before i really jump into the topics i will later discuss in this series, i wanted to first describe what it's like to be single in the the 21st century, specifically in the last 3 years, and voicing the struggles of navigating dating not just in person out in the real world, but the nascent online world as well.

this episode is introducing my first series where i talk about dating! i plan on talking on a plethora of topics that i hope you find enjoyable, entertaining, helpful, and insightful! just like all my other episodes, i will share my (limited) experience and the lessons i have learned since i started dating. i hope that you enjoy the stories i tell along with my thoughts and opinions and hopefully, you can find some reliability in what i have gone through and maybe take something away from the things i have to say in each episode!
